Restricted Access

For riders aged 17 to 20 or for those who only want to ride lower powered motorcycles we offer full module 1 and module 2 training on manual geared 125cc machines. The holder of a licence obtained via this method will be restricted to riding machines that develop 33 bhp or less.

*Please note that until the law changes in January 2013 a restricted licence will automatically upgrade to a full unrestricted licence after the expiry of 2 years from the date of passing the module 2 test.

Direct Access

This is the course for those people over 21 years of age who wish to avoid the 2 year power restriction after passing their test.

Having successfully completed CBT and having reached test standard on a 125cc machine students now move up to training on our powerful 400cc and 500cc bikes prior to taking the DSA test.

At Quickstart we believe in training our students in all aspects of motorcycling and on Direct Access you will learn to correctly negotiate bends, overtake other traffic and ride on main roads as well as practising for the test itself.
